What is Massage?

Massage uses touch through rubbing or kneading of parts of the body to aid circulation, relax muscles, or provide stress relief. It is one of the oldest, simplest forms of therapy. Its basic goal is to help the body heal itself and to increase health and well-being.

There are many health benefits to receiving massage therapy on a regular basis:

  • Stress relief

  • Relaxation

  • Improved circulation

  • Improved posture

  • Lower blood pressure

  • Pain management

  • Muscle relaxation

  • Improved flexibility

  • Improved breathing

  • Relief for tension headaches

  • Strengthened immune system

  • Decreased depression

There are also many different types of massage. I do deep tissue massage, some Swedish massage, Trigger Point Therapy and Somatics.

Using the healing power of Nature to bring people health, happiness and peace of mind.
